RASS is able to assist owners or managers of family wealth and “family offices” with advisory projects relating to generational continuity and the protection of family wealth unity.
Consulting areas:
- mapping of family assets and advising the head of the family on the allocation of family assets among the various family members, by means of wills or gifts
- identification of legal instruments for protecting family assets (patrimonial funds, trusts, fiduciary arrangements, acts of destination pursuant to Article 2645-ter of the Italian Civil Code)
- selection of legal instruments, at the level of articles of association and/or shareholders’ agreements, for planning the generational transfer of business assets through the establishment of family holding companies (including in the form of s.a.p.a. or s.s.), followed by the establishment of the corporate vehicle and drafting of “tailor-made” articles of association and shareholders’ agreements
- assistance in entering into family agreements for the business and other “family governance” arrangements supporting continuity
- identification of legal structures for implementing investment decisions concerning works of art or prestigious real estate
- assistance with philanthropic activities through the establishment of family foundations
- identification of legal structures supporting participation in co-investment transactions, using family savings, in entrepreneurial initiatives (“business angels”, “venture capital”, “family-and-friends” transactions, etc.)
