Avv. Maria Rosa Galletti

Maria Rosa is an Equity Partner at RASS and heads the Civil Litigation Department. She graduated with honours from the University of Pavia and completed her education with an Introductory Course in English Law at the City of London Polytechnic (1986) and a specialist programme at the Academy of American and International Law, The Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas (1991). She has been admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court and the Higher Jurisdictions since 2013.

Maria Rosa Galletti is a Founding Partner of RASS (1995) and has extensive and significant experience in corporate and commercial law, as well as insurance law, both in litigation and non-contentious matters. She has also developed specific expertise in procurement, distribution and agency agreements. She has mainly acted and continues to act for foreign clients, providing assistance in litigation and pre-litigation matters, as well as day-to-day legal advice.

With regard to litigation, together with a team of lawyers, she has handled cases involving medical and healthcare liability and product liability, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors.

Maria Rosa practices Nordic walking and enjoys cinema.

She was a speaker at the Eighth Conference on Clinical and Forensic Traumatology – 15th Course in Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Legal Medicine – held on 17-18 November 2017 in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR), with a presentation on “Compensation for Terminal Damages”.

She was a speaker at the Ninth Conference on Clinical and Forensic Traumatology – 16th Course in Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Legal Medicine – held on 23-24 November 2018 in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR), with a presentation on “Compensability of Costs Related to Rehabilitation Treatment and Technical Aids in Cases of Severe Injury”.

She held Giuffrè training courses in 2018, 2019 and 2020 on actions for financial liability against directors for mismanagement.
