Avv. Carmelo Mendolia
Carmelo is Of Counsel at RASS and heads the Administrative Law team in the Milan office. He graduated from the University of Messina and has gained extensive and well-established experience in administrative law, with particular focus on compulsory purchase proceedings for public utility purposes, public contracts, local public services, town planning and construction law, environmental law, energy law, pharmaceutical law, European and competition law, electoral law, public employment law, directors’ liability, regulatory and antitrust matters. He regularly handles administrative litigation, representing clients before the Regional Administrative Courts and the Higher Courts.
Carmelo joined RASS in 2018 as Of Counsel. His clients operate in various sectors, including investment funds, renewable energy production and natural resources extraction, pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, commercial catering, logistics and real estate development.
Carmelo advises companies, entities and public and private institutions on organisational, contractual and management matters, as well as related litigation before administrative and civil courts and in arbitration proceedings. He has also assisted clients in structuring bids and participating in tenders for the award of public contracts and state concessions, as well as in the banking, retail, gaming and betting sectors.
Outside the firm, Carmelo enjoys golf, travelling and motorcycles.
