Avv. Cosimo Di Bitonto

Cosimo is an Equity Partner at RASS in the Milan office. He graduated with honors in Law from L.U.I.S.S. University in Rome in 1993 and further specialized through advanced courses in notarial law, corporate law, and negotiation techniques. He is the author of more than fifty legal publications in leading law reviews and publishing houses; he is a lecturer for Giuffrè Francis Lefebvre – Memento Academy and for the Board Effectiveness & Corporate Governance course at LIUC Business School. From 2002 to 2020, he was a contract professor and tutor at the School of Specialization for Legal Professions of the University of Foggia, teaching Civil Law and Commercial Law.

Cosimo joined RASS in 2006 and assists, both in and out of court, Italian and international clients including (a) private individuals (HNWI) in matters relating to non-profit entities, inheritance succession, and generational transfer of wealth and family businesses, through the creation of tailored corporate structures and real estate transactions; and (b) business operators (Italian family industrial companies, multinational corporations, financial intermediaries, and banking foundations) in commercial contracts, joint ventures, corporate acquisition transactions, and extraordinary finance operations for raising equity, hybrid and debt capital (banking and private credit), including private equity, venture capital, and turnaround transactions.

Alongside his legal and academic activity in business law, Cosimo is an expert in geopolitics, contemporary military history, and military organizations and forces.
