AVV. Carmelo Mendolia

Carmelo Mendolia joined Studio Legale Rinaldi e Associati – RASS in 2018, as Of Counsel. He works mostly in the field of administrative law with special focus on public contracts, public tenders, urban planning, eminent domains, environmental law, energy law, pharma law, European and competition law. His clients operate in different sectors, among them energy production from renewable sources and mining of natural resources, pharma product manufacturing and distribution, commercial catering, logistics and property development. Carmelo assists companies, public and private entities and institutions by working on their organizational, contractual, management issues and the related litigations in front of administrative and civil courts and in case of arbitrations. He assisted clients during the arrangement of offers and the participation in tenders in the banking, retail, gaming and betting fields.

His contribution is paramount in the definition of all the relevant public aspects involved in the cases and in the operations assisted by the Firm, from urban-building to property and regulatory operations in case of extraordinary and M&A transactions.

Carmelo Mendolia’s professional activity is mainly focused on administrative law. Particularly, his professional activity concentrated on public law for local public services and public contracts, urban planning and construction law, eminent domain, environmental law, electoral law, renewable energies, the oil field, public employment, the directors’ liability, pharma law, EU regulatory and anti-trust law.

To this purpose, Carmelo Mendolia followed several cases in front of the Regional Administrative Courts and in front of the State Council. He pleaded in front of the Court of Cassation and in front of ordinary courts at all civil levels, in front of the Court of Accounts, the tax courts, the public waters court (both at supreme and regional level).

He participated in all roles in the litigations in front of several independent Authorities and in front of different disciplinary bodies.

Carmelo Mendolia assists his clients – both private people, companies and public entities – by drawing up formal opinions and by assisting them in court.
