AVV. FERDINANDO NICOTRA

Ferdinando Nicotra joined Studio Legale Rinaldi e Associati – RASS in 2005. He deals with antitrust and competition law, commercial law and commercial agreements. After attending a stage in Brussels at the European Commission, DG Competition, he accrued extensive experience in European and Italian anti-trust law, with special focus on M&A transactions, cartels and vertical agreements, assisting and representing Italian companies and multinational groups before the Italian Antitrust Authority and foreign competition authorities of EU member States; he also assisted clients in front of national administrative courts (TAR and CdS) in several industrial sectors.

In addition, he assists Italian and international clients in internal audits for the compliance with the antitrust regulations, as well as in the drawing up and implementation of antitrust compliance programs and periodical training of client’s employees on such matters.

As regards company agreements, moreover, he boasts a strong experience in the sector of IT agreements, which he has accrued throughout the years thanks to his work with primary national and international companies operating, inter alia, in the segment of IT, ICT and new digital services (Digital Advertising and Web Marketing).

Education and qualifications:

• University Degree in Law at the University of Catania (2001);
• European Commission, Brussels (Internship at the Directorate-General for Competition, Unit E4 – Energy, Water and Steel), 2003;
• Admitted to practice 2004
